SCF, Manatee-Sarasota Hosts Info Session on Accelerated Dual Enrollment

SCF will host an information session for Sarasota County public high school students interested in an accelerated dual enrollment program.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host an information session for Sarasota County public high school students and their families interested in an accelerated dual enrollment program. The session will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 29 at SCF Lakewood Ranch in the Center for Innovation and Technology (CIT), Room 116, 7131 Professional Pkwy. E.

The information session will cover the logistics of the program, application process and details about the transition to college. Students who have a 3.3 grade point average and qualifying college-level test scores can attend SCF full-time in their junior and senior years of high school, and may be eligible to graduate with their high school diploma and associate’s degree at the same time. The program is only for Sarasota County public school students. The deadline to apply is May 19 for the Fall semester.
