SCF, Manatee-Sarasota Offers Prep Classes for Essential Academic Skills Test

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Corporate and Community Development is offering preparation classes for the Test for Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Exam.

The classes will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. at SCF Lakewood Ranch, Center for Innovation and Technology, Room 215, 7131 Professional Pkwy., Room 215 in these categories:

English, Monday, Feb. 27, and Wednesday, March 1;

Science, Monday, March 13, and Wednesday, March 15;

Reading, Monday, March 20, and Wednesday, March 22;

Math, Monday, March 27, and Wednesday, March 29.

The cost is $45 per category or $160 for all four.

Applicants can take the TEAS exam offered at SCF. Students must pass all sections of the exam before they may apply to SCF’s nursing program, and the exam must be completed at least two weeks before the nursing application deadline.
