SCF, Manatee-Sarasota’s Communications & Marketing Department Receives Awards of Excellence

The Communications & Marketing Department at SCF was recognized by the Association of Florida Colleges.

The Communications & Marketing Department at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) was recognized by the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC). The department received First Place Awards of Excellence for its design of two publications produced between August 2015 and July 2016: in the brochure category, the booklet detailing SCF’s five-year strategic plan designed by Joanne Campbell; and in the athletic media guide category, the 2016 softball media guide designed by Mace Thirtle.

SCF submits entries to the Communications and Marketing Commission of the AFC, and is judged against other colleges with fewer than 10,000 Full-Time Equivalent students. Submissions are judged on creativity, originality, relevance to category guidelines and effectiveness.
