SCF, Manatee-Sarasota Workforce Solutions Offers Export Financing Seminar

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is offering an export financing seminar in conjunction with the Sarasota County and Bradenton-area Economic Development Corporations, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 25 at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. E.

The half-day seminar will offer exporters basic tools to understand how to finance their exports, including letters of credit as financial and banking instruments, mitigating export risk with commercial credit and political risk insurance, and state and federal government lending programs available.

The seminar is designed to put exporters on the road to becoming experts at financing their products overseas to increase revenues and become more competitive in the international marketplace. The cost is $49.
