SCFCS Students Raised More Than $4,000 at Walk-A-Thon

State College of Florida Collegiate School students raised more than $4,000 during a Walk-A-Thon last month to pay for school equipment.

State College of Florida Collegiate School (SCFCS) students raised more than $4,000 during a Walk-A-Thon last month to pay for charging stations for their classrooms. Holly Cole’s class at the Collegiate School raised more than $800, the most of any class, earning them a week of dressing down for school uniforms. The freshman class at SCFCS received a matching donation of more than $500 from the Max Grablin Foundation.

Four students earned $25 gift cards for running the most laps and running the fastest. Parents and volunteers helped out with the event at SCFCS and donated to the fundraiser. Anyone still wishing to donate may do so online at scfcs.scf.edu/donate.
