Search Continues For South FL Man Visiting Manatee County: Sheriff

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — The search continues for a South Florida man who visited Manatee County for business earlier this month, authorities said.

Olaf Tobias Hallin, 42, drove to Manatee from the Miami area Nov. 14, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release. His vehicle was found in the 4500 block of U.S. 41 N. that night around 11:30 p.m.

There have been no reported sightings of him or contact between him and his family for a week.

Detectives are looking at his recent business dealings and what led up to his disappearance.

Investigators shared images of Hallin at a Public in Doral just before he left for Manatee County.
The photos show him in the clothing he was last seen wearing: a black long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, a black hat and glasses.

Hallin is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds and has blonde hair.
