Sheriff’s Deputy Arrested For DUI In Manatee County: Report
A correctional deputy with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office resigned after a DUI arrest early Saturday, reports said.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — A correctional deputy with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office was arrested early Saturday for driving under the influence, the Bradenton Herald reported. Charles Mick, 22, who has worked for MCSO since 2019, was arrested around 4 a.m. Saturday.
MCSO deputies arrested Mick after responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle parked in the grass in Eastern Manatee County, reports said. Deputies found him sitting in the driver’s seat and determined he was under the influence.
According to reports, he resigned from his position Saturday afternoon.
