(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) sophomore Francesca Bisordi is the first girl in school history to qualify for wrestling states.

“I’m super-hyped,” she said.

Bisordi is ranked second in the region, and is a competitive, strong wrestler.

Her 2024-25 season record is 27-3 with 23 pins.

The wrestling matches are scheduled for March 5-8 in Kissimmee.

Bisordi said, “I am excited but scared for these upcoming matches, my friends did amazing, but I wish we were moving on together.”

“My overall goal is to place out of the 16 and stand on the podium,” Bisordi added.

Bisordi mentioned how honored she was to have the chance to make it to states as a sophomore, a very impressive accomplishment.
