Stolen Truck With Sentimental Value Found, Man Charged: Bradenton Police
A man was charged with grand theft auto after stealing a truck from Manatee Memorial Hospital last month, Bradenton police said.
BRADENTON, FL — A stolen truck with sentimental value to the owner was found in Manatee County and a suspect was arrested, the Bradenton Police Department shared on Facebook.
The 1998 red Chevy S10 truck was taken Aug. 24 from Manatee Memorial Hospital.
“Unfortunately, it was given a ‘makeover,’ which included a (spray paint) job, and removal of its Salutes Veterans license plate and Michigan State sticker,” police said. “The truck was returned to the owner, although sadly not in the condition he’d hoped for.”

Joshua Hart, 35, was arrested Wednesday for stealing the truck and faces multiple charges, including grand theft auto, BPD said.
