SUNZ Holdings Relocating To Bradenton

The company plans to renovate a 40-year-old building on 6th Avenue West.

BRADENTON, FL — SUNZ Holdings has announced a big move of its corporate headquarters, but the relocation isn’t taking it far. The insurance company will soon call Bradenton its home.

The Sarasota-based company announced its plans to renovate a 40-year-old building at 1301 6th Ave. W., the former home of First Bank, earlier this week. The company will initially have more than 50 employees working in Bradenton. They will move into about 30,000 square feet of the building's available 60,000 square feet. The remainder of the office space will be reserved to accommodate the “number of personnel expected to join SUNZ,” the company announced in a media release.

“SUNZ’s new office space is critical for us to increase our capabilities in key areas that align with our current and future growth goals," CEO Steve Herrig was quoted in a media release as saying. "The new location allows us to continue to support the personnel growth we are experiencing while giving us dedicated facilities to host customer meetings."

We believe the job creation on the part of SUNZ will benefit both of our economic development goals."
