Suspect Charged With Murder In Trailer Park Death: Sheriff
A suspect has been charged with second-degree murder in a death at Gar Fair Mobile Home Park, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

BRADENTON, FL — A suspect has been arrested and faces charges related to a death at Gar Fair Mobile Home Park in the 3100 block of 9th Street W. in Bradenton Saturday afternoon, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Around 5 p.m., Matthew Briganti called 911 from the trailer park because he found the victim, whose name isn’t being released under Marsy’s Law, not breathing or moving inside his home at the trailer park, the sheriff’s office said. When deputies and EMS arrived, they found the victim dead in Briganti’s home.
An autopsy later determined the victim’s death was the result of homicidal violence after being struck in the head multiple times with a blunt object, the sheriff’s office said.

During the investigation, Briganti provided statements to detectives that were inconsistent with the evidence on scene, MCSO said. Video surveillance of his residence also showed he was the only person inside the home after the victim was last seen alive, when they entered the home Friday around 1:45 p.m.
The circumstances leading up to the homicide are still being investigated and no other information is available at this time, the sheriff’s office said.
