It was a glorious day for walking along the river. The weather was favorable, The entertainment was wonderful, the food delicious, and the performances enjoyable. Children in costumes, danced and sang to an appreciative audience who applauded their youthful talent. Varied performances by soloists and bands added to the perfection of the event. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
With ten tickets ( $10.00) my husband and I enjoyed a slice of pizza, two mini-sandwiches, a beverage and free chocolate mousse. The entire venue reminded us of the country fairs of our youth. Unlike other similar events which are limited in space and crowded with hundreds of visitors vying for the same spot, this event was arranged to invite strolling and moving about. I congratulate the Rotary club and all those who planned and executed this event. We look forward to future events beside the River Walk.
