Teen Charged After Robbing Circle K In Bradenton: Manatee Sheriff

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with armed robbery after robbing a Circle K in Bradenton Monday, Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

BRADENTON, FL — A 17-year-old boy has been charged in the Fourth of July robbery of a Circle K in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The teen walked into the Circle K at 3006 1st Street W. just before 7 p.m. on Monday and, implying he had a weapon, demanded cash, the agency said.

He was arrested Thursday and charged with armed robbery, the sheriff’s office said.

While MCSO publicly named the teen, they did not indicate whether he was charged as an adult or a juvenile. It is Patch's policy not to identify teens in the juvenile court system.
