Teen Critically Injured In Shooting, 15-Year-Old Charged: Police

A 15-year-old Bradenton boy was charged in the Friday evening shooting of another teenager, police said.

BRADENTON, FL — A 15-year-old Bradenton boy was charged in a Friday evening shooting that left another teen in critical condition.

Eugene Williams turned himself in Saturday afternoon and was charged as an adult with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to a news release from Bradenton police. He is being held without bond.

Around 7 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of 19th Street Court E.

When they arrived, they found the teenage victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was brought to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, where is in stable but critical condition, police said.
