Teen Dies After Car Drives Off Road, Overturns In Bradenton Pond: FHP
A 17-year-old boy died after his car traveled off the road and overturned in a Bradenton pond on Monday morning, FL Highway Patrol said.
BRADENTON, FL — A Bradenton teenager died after his car overturned in a pond Sunday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
Just before 5 a.m., the 17-year-old boy was heading west on 44th Avenue East, just east of 19th Street Court East, when his car traveled off the road and crossed the median, sidewalk and grass shoulder before overturning into a pond, FHP said.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, the agency said.
