Woman, 2 Teen Girls Injured In Thanksgiving Shooting That Targeted Palmetto Home: Sheriff
Palmetto home targeted in a Thanksgiving night attack. The sheriff's office is seeking information from the public to find the shooter.
PALMETTO, FL — Shots fired into a Palmetto home Thanksgiving night injured a 44-year-old woman and two 17-year-old girls, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The home, which is located in the 1600 block of 18th Street Court East, was targeted in the attack, detectives said.
Around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, an unknown person stood in the front yard and shot into the home multiple times.

The three victims were in bedrooms when they were struck by bullets, the sheriff’s office said. They were hospitalized and in stable condition as of Saturday morning.
A 5-year-old girl in the home during the shooting was uninjured.

This was the only residence involved in the shooting, which wasn’t random, the sheriff’s office said.
