Tijuana Flats Coming to Bradenton
Tex-Mex chain plans to open a new location on Cortez Road West sometime in November.
Tijuana Flats, the Florida-based Tex-Mex restaurant chain, has plans to open its first location in Bradenton.
The restaurant will open "sometime in November" at 2127 Cortez Rd. W., according to company real estate manager Matthew Livingston. The new Tijuana Flats will be corporate-owned and lease a commercial space that is being .
"There's not a set hard date yet (for the opening)," Livingston said.

The restaurant chain, started in 1995 in Winter Haven, has more than 70 locations in five states, mostly in Florida. There are two Tijuana Flats restaurants in Sarasota, at 3404 Clark Rd. and 1635 S. Tamiami Trail.
Livingston did not say if there are plans for other Tijuana Flats locations in Bradenton, but he said the company is expanding up and down Florida's west coast.
