Venice Stuns Southeast Late in Spring Game

Indians score three TDs late in the fourth quarter to defeat host Noles 28-27 on Friday in spring football action.

Final score: Venice 28, Southeast 27

Recap: Venice scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter Friday, wiping away a Southeast 20-7 lead in spring football action. Southeast's Brian Poole scored on touchdown runs of 34 and 63 yards and finished with 191 yards rushing on 11 carries. Seminoles quarterback Myles Braxton-Johnson completed 8-of-18 passes for 111 yards and an interception.

Key play: Venice recovered a Southeast fumble at the Seminoles' 11 yard line, setting up Danny Dillard's game-winning, 3-yard touchdown run with 1:47 remaining in the fourth quarter.
