MANATEE COUNTY — The Fourth of July is here in the Bradenton area. As you prepare to celebrate the birth of our nation with family and friends, it’s important to note what will be open Monday.
Many local facilities and government offices will close on the holiday.

City of Bradenton Administrative Offices: Closed Monday
City of Bradenton Garbage & Recycling: Monday’s garbage and yard waste pickup will be on Tuesday and Tuesday’s pickup will be on Wednesday.

Manatee County Government Offices: Closed Monday
County Clerk and Comptroller's Office: Closed Monday
Department of Health in Manatee County: Closed Monday
Manatee County Libraries: The Downtown Central Library, the only county library normally open on Mondays, will be closed
Twelfth Judicial Circuit: Closed Monday
County Trash & Recycling: Trash, recycling and yard waste will be postponed by one day this week following Monday’s holiday.
Manatee County Area Transit: There will be no fixed route or Handy Bus service Monday. The Anna Maria Island Trolley service and the Beach Express will operate as normal. MCAT administration, sales and information offices are closed Monday.
G.T. Bray Recreation Center: Open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Manatee County and Buffalo Creek Golf Courses: Open
County Parks, Preserves & Beaches: Open Monday
Post Offices: Closed Monday. The U.S. Postal Service will also not deliver mail Monday.
