What’s Open, Closed In Manatee County On Christmas 2021
Here are some closures and schedule changes for government offices, facilities and services over the holiday weekend.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — As Manatee County residents prepare to celebrate Christmas Saturday, here are some closures and schedule changes affecting government offices, facilities and services to keep in mind this holiday weekend.
Manatee County government offices: All offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Garbage and recycling: There will be no changes to garbage, yard waste and recycling pick-up for residents of unincorporated Manatee County.

Manatee County Area Transit: All MCAT buses will stop running at 3 p.m. on Friday, while the Anna Maria Island Trolley and Longboat Key Shuttle will stop running at 7 p.m. There will be no fixed route, Handy Bus or Longboat Key Shuttle service on Saturday. The Anna Maria Trolley will run regular service on Saturday.
G.T. Bray Recreation Center: Closes at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and will be closed Friday and Saturday.

Manatee County Public Schools: Schools closed Wednesday for winter break and will reopen Jan. 6.
Manatee County Public Libraries: Closed Friday and Saturday
Bradenton City Hall and other city offices: Closed Thursday and Friday. Will reopen Monday.
City of Bradenton trash collection: Solid waste collection will not be affected by the holiday.
