Well, here are a couple options if you’re in the mood the venture out. Take note, Steelers and Browns fans. This especially concerns you all.

, 7423 Manatee Ave. W., is home of the Manatee County Browns Backers. Specials include $1 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon beers and $3 Jim Beams from 8 p.m. until close. And there are plenty of televisions: Two 100-inch screens, 15 HD plasmas and two booths with small, private screens.
, 4669 Cortez Rd., is the long-time local home of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The bar serves wine, liquor and more than 20 domestic and import beers, in addition to Iron City Beer, Pittsburgh’s signature brew since 1861. The game will be on the giant projection screen and probably many of the other ones. Drink specials include $10 buckets of domestics (including Iron City) and $6 pitchers.

- Local rockers Wikked Jester are rocking at , 4343 Palma Sola Blvd., this Friday. The show starts at 9 p.m. No cover. On Saturday, Come Back Alice takes the stage at 9 p.m. for a benefit for The Dangerous Dan Toler Benefit Fund. A portion of each $5 cover will benefit the fund, which is helping Dangerous Dan battle the illness amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
- Pier 22, 1200 First Ave. W., is hosting a VIP Holiday Boat Parade Party at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on its outdoor waterfront terrace. The evening begins with a champagne toast followed by a holiday dinner buffet, cash bar, silent auction, and toy drive for Toys for Tots. Plus, you have the best seats on the Manatee River for the boat parade, the official start of the Winter Wonderland festival in downtown Bradenton. The boats are expected to pass downtown between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Cost: $49.95 per person. Call (941) 748-8087.
- , 2604 Manatee Ave. E., is hosting its Customer Appreciation Christmas Party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday with both classic and humorous Christmas songs, turkey and all the fixings, $2.50 margaritas, $10 beer buckets and a refridgerator up for raffle. Raffle proceeds will benefit breast cancer research.
