Catch The Holiday Spirit In Downtown Bradenton Dec. 11 With Winter Wonderland, Boat Parade

A beloved, family-friendly holiday tradition using 20 tons of ice to create snow slides returns to Old Main Street Dec. 11.

BRADENTON, FL — Get ready for a festive, snowy evening in downtown Bradenton.

Winter Wonderland returns Dec. 11, 5 to 9 p.m., on Old Main Street with festive lights, holiday activities, local vendors and plenty of the white stuff.

The event uses 20 tons of ice to create two large snow slides and one bunny slope, according to the event’s Facebook page.

In the past, the spectacular wintry wonderland has drawn around 15,000 attendees.

This year, it’s also the same night as the Bradenton Yacht Club’s Manatee River Holiday Boat Parade. The parade kicks off at sundown and makes its way toward downtown Bradenton’s Riverwalk area.

Those attending Winter Wonderland are in proximity to a prime viewing location to catch the boat parade, making for double the family-friendly Christmas fun that evening.
