Woman Stabs, Kills Ex-Boyfriend In Self-Defense: Sheriff
A woman stabbed her ex-boyfriend in self-defense during a disturbance at Star Mobile Home Park in Bradenton, MCSO said.
BRADENTON, FL — A 42-year-old woman stabbed and killed her 24-year-old ex-boyfriend in self-defense during an incident at Star Mobile Home Park in Bradenton early Sunday, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Deputies were called to the mobile home park in the 200 block of 41st Avenue E. just before 6 a.m. about an injured person. They were also told about a disturbance between the victim and his ex-girlfriend, the sheriff’s office said.
The man was dead when EMS and deputies arrived at the mobile home park. His body was found on the ground between two vehicles with a wound to his chest, the sheriff’s office said.

The woman told detectives that she was being abused and claimed that her ex-boyfriend was hitting and choking her when she stabbed him once in his chest, MCSO said.
Detectives believe that she acted in self-defense. The investigation is ongoing.
