Brandon Mom Channels Her Inner Sarah Palin (VIDEO)
At a Republican celebration of the 80's and all things Ronald Reagan, Brandon mom Stacey Snow Feiler dresses up as one of her favorite politicians, Sarah Palin. She's done the same at Freedom Works rallies in Washington D.C.

It’s not lost upon Brandon mom Stacy Snow Feiler that she bears a striking resemblance to Sarah Palin, so much so that her presence, in character, has been requested at events from Eastern Hillsborough County to the nation’s capital.
And when she opens her mouth, it becomes even more clear why her presence is an added delight at Republican-minded and Tea Party hosted events, such as the FishHawk Republican Club gathering June 11 at the Park Square Cellar & Bistro in Lithia.
For that, Snow Feiler credits her husband’s tenure in Adak, Alaska, where he was stationed in the military in 1993, and where Feiler got a first-hand view of Palin, the youngest and first woman elected governor of Alaska and the former GOP candidate for vice president.

“People then were already starting to laugh at me, and do a double-take, when they saw me,” Snow Feiler said June 11, at the “Back to the 80’s” party hosted by the FishHawk Republican Club, in celebration of the Reagan years and in anticipation of the Republican National Convention coming to Tampa in 2010.
“Part of the purpose tonight is to keep our people energized, with the Tampa convention coming up and next year’s elections right around the corner,” said Deboarah Cox-Roush, chair of the Hillsborough County Republican Party.

For Snow Feiler, the opportunity afforded another chance to become Sarah Palin for the day, as she’s done, she said, at “big rallies” in Washington D.C., where she assists with Freedom Works, a conservative political action committee with chapters across the nation.
Snow Feiler had a whole bunch of “you betchas,” ready at the moment, and she even brought along a can of oil, as a prop for her “drill baby drill” speech.
“I’ve been to some Tea Party rallies where folks thought I was Sarah Palin. I’ve even had some reporters ask me for interviews thinking I was her,” laughed Snow Feiler.
As for the genuine article, Snow Feiler said her imitation is meant as well to be a sincere form of flattery.
“I think Sarah Palin is wonderful,” Snow Feiler said. “I am not sure she will run for president, but if she did that would be great.”
Politics aside, how does Snow Feiler measure up to Palin? In her words:
- 1 — “I have one more kid than her.”
- 2 — “She was in a beauty contest, I was not.”
- 3 — “We both shoot guns.”
- 4 — “We pretty much have the same style of dress, down to the boots.”
- 5 — “We’re both afraid of heights.”
