Deputies: Tip Leads to Grow House's Demise

A Crime Stoppers tipster gets the credit for leading deputies to a marijuana grow house door.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies served a search warrant at 9954 Timmons Road Tuesday and discovered a room inside that had been converted for the purpose of growing marijuana. They also found several plants drying in a closet, 237 grams of processed marijuana and a loaded .38 revolver.

This is the fifth indoor grow house operation the sheriff’s office has shut down since the year began, an email to media from the agency noted.

Anna Lambdin of the Timmons Road address now faces cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia charges. She was transported to a local hospital following the search for treatment of a pre-existing medical condition, the email noted.

Lambdin had yet to be booked into the Hillsborough County Jail as of Thursday morning.
