Discount 2016 Florida Strawberry Festival Tickets: Where to Find Them

PLANT CITY, FL — Tampa Bay area residents hoping to save on gate admission for this year’s Florida Strawberry Festival will get their chance to buy advanced tickets soon.

The festival has announced discount ticket sales begin Jan. 28. They’ll be available through March 13 at participating Publix stores throughout Central Florida. Tickets can be found at the customer service desks.

The cost for advanced admission tickets is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12. Children age 5 and younger are free. Regular admission tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children. Kids 5 and under are free at the festival’s gate, too.

The annual festival features an array of exhibits, contests, live musical acts and rides, among other attractions. Musical acts lined up for this year’s event include Cheap Trick, Trace Adkins and Big & Rich. Advanced concert tickets are also on sale.

The Florida State Fair is also gearing up for its Feb. 4-15 run. Tickets for the 112th annual fair are on sale now at Walgreens stores throughout the state.
