Disney Magic Doesn't Turn Grumpy Woman's Frown Upside Down
The woman practiced her 'grumpy face' before it was caught on camera at Walt Disney World.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL — Walt Disney World is supposed to be the “most magical place on earth,” but that just wasn’t enough to turn a recent visitor’s frown upside down.
It seems Jordan Alexander is a huge fan of thrill rides. Unfortunately for the Syracuse, N.Y., woman, her husband Steve is not. Jordan reportedly talked Steve into taking a plunge on Splash Mountain during the couple’s recent trip to Disney.
When it came time to get on board, Steve backed out of the deal. That turn of events left his wife more than a little hot under the collar, several media outlets have reported.

To make sure, Steve knew just how unhappy she was about the last-minute back out, “I practiced my face the whole ride,” Jordan told Inside Edition’s Debra Norville. “I wanted to get it right but I didn’t have a mirror, so I just had to frown my brow, make a face, and just hope for the best.”

Practice must have made perfect, because the shot Disney captured of her on the ride is making a big slash all on its own. Norville even noted she looked like “the grumpiest woman of all time.”
Syracuse.com points out that Jordan has earned her own Internet nickname, “Angry Splash Mountain lady,” courtesy of the shot, which has been turned into meme gold since it was posted.
Jordan seems to be taking all the attention in stride. She’s even created her own Twitter account, “AngrySplashMtnWife.” Her profile picture is, of course, that angry-faced shot with the word “NOPE” written across it.
Whether Steve will have a change of heart about rides before the couple visit Florida again remains unclear. If Jordan can’t get him to ride with her, she might want to look up Shane Lindsay and Ted Tamburo. That dynamic duo tackled all of Disney World’s rides in a single day. They even managed to pull off the feat with enough time to spare for extra spins on a few of their favorites.
