Dynamic Duo Tackles All 46 Disney World Rides in 1 Day

With time left over, they took four spins on a single ride to make it 50 for the day.

While many people find themselves daunted by the endless lines and long wait times at theme parks, two men have proven it’s possible to take a spin on every Walt Disney World attraction in a single day.

With a carefully planned itinerary in hand, Shane Lindsay and Ted Tamburo managed to pull off their goal of experiencing every single ride in the Orlando park in a day. They managed to pull it off with enough time to spare to take four extra spins on a duplicate ride to bring their total for the day up to 50, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The feat was accomplished last Saturday.

The pair dreamed up the idea for what was dubbed WDW46 in the spring of 2013.

“It was born out of a childhood obsession,” the pair’s website, Parkeology.com, explains. Their first attempt took place in June 2013, but didn’t quite end in the success the two hoped for since bad weather closed two of the rides. While they did pull off 48 rides in total that day, a single spin on every ride in the park wasn’t possible.

Fast forward to 2014 and the two have claimed victory. They did so by carefully mapping out the ride schedule for every attraction at every Walt Disney World park, including Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
