Hillsborough Sandbag Sites Are Open

Breaking: With heavy rain expected in the area over the next few days, Hillsborough County is making sandbags available to residents.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — With heavy rain expected to linger in Tampa Bay area over the next few days, Hillsborough County has opened its sandbag locations to residents.

Residents of Hillsborough County can receive sandbags at the following locations:

  • West Service Unit, 9805 Sheldon Road
  • South Service Unit, 8718 Old Big Bend Road
  • East Service Unit, 4702 Sydney Road

The locations will be open to residents on Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A decision about Tuesdy has not been announced. Residents are asked to bring their own shovels and are limited to 25 sandbags each.
