Let's get naughty!
Starting Monday Hillsborough County employees must dress like pirates!
At the Hillsborough County Commission meeting last night Commissioners unanimously voted that henceforth all commissioners and employees are required to wear pirate garb as their daily office attire. This is to make sure that all taxpayers know who they are dealing with and what they are up against.
Commissioner Sandy Murman was emboldened to propose the measure after shamelessly accepting the largest $3.500 bundle of Ramappa money just 3 days prior to shamelessly voting in favor of the Ramappa’s apartment project (article). Commissioners Les Miller and Kevin Beckner who also accepted money prior to the vote also gleefully supported the new piratey dress code to clearly identify the relationship between the marauding Hillsborough County Government and its taxpayers.
After the successful vote Commissioner Murman effusively shouted “Let’s get noughty” and the entire chamber erupted in swashbuckling revelry.
