• Board Game Therapy group makes mental health benefits of gaming more accessible (wlrn.org) — A new nonprofit is hosting free Board Game Therapy nights every third Friday at Apostles Lutheran Church in Brandon, giving residents of all ages a welcoming place to connect offline. Organizers say the gatherings build social skills, ease anxiety, and strengthen family relationships, while staying clearly separate from formal therapy. Attendance has already topped 70 people, and more sessions are planned.
   

• Floridians Make the Most of an Opportunity at TPC Sawgrass (drivechipandputt.com) — A Brandon youth golfer, Guinn Hill, has earned a coveted spot in the 2027 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals at Augusta National after winning his age division at TPC Sawgrass.
