Watch: Disney World's Gaston Takes Win in Pushup Contest

While Disney World’s Gaston recently faced a crushing defeat in a battle of wits courtesy of a pint-sized nemesis, he wasn’t about to lose a contest of brawn against a grown man.

Proving it, the costumed cast member got down on the ground recently when issued a challenge by a park visitor who thought he could beat out the villain in a pushup contest.

“I’m the strongest man around,” Gaston seemingly boasted, in response to the challenge.

It was no boast, however. The “Beauty and the Beast” star not only outdid his rival, he effortlessly managed one-handed pushups while mocking his challenger’s inability to keep up.

Just like the verbal battle between Gaston and a tiny park-goer named Isabella, the encounter was captured on video. The latest video, posted on YouTube, by Blake Platt on Jan. 2 has since gone viral. More than 5 million people have tuned in to watch Gaston finally get a win, almost topping the number of views for Isabella’s filmed encounter with the Disney cast member, which was posted back in November.

The challenge was all in good fun, of course.

“We were just having fun and I thought a person or two might get a chuckle out of it,” Platt wrote on his YouTube post. “When my brother and I go to the Disney parks (which we love), one of our goals every time we enter is to make someone’s day, even if it’s just one person. Hopefully we’ve been able to do that on a little larger scale; and, hopefully again, in a way of which Walt would be proud.”
