Weekend Weather: Practically Perfect
The forecast calls for a sunny weekend with cooler temperatures.
Tampa Bay area residents ready for a break from relentless rain and sweltering heat are in luck. The National Weather Service says the region is in for a treat as the weekend arrives.
Forecasters say Bay area residents can expect sunny conditions Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Highs are expected to only climb into the low 80s Friday and Saturday. Sunday’s high might make the mid-80s.
Lows throughout the weekend are anticipated to drop into the 60s.

Conditions are anticipated to remain much the same heading into the workweek, as well. Monday’s high is forecast to climb to about 80 with a low in the upper 60s.
