• Welcoming 60 seniors to the Buen Vecino neighborhood (aroundosceola.com) — A new 60-unit Buen Vecino senior housing community has just opened in a Buenaventura Lakes neighborhood, giving low-income residents 62 and older a safe, affordable place to live. Backed by Osceola County, Kissimmee, HUD and local partners, the long-planned complex quickly drew hundreds of applications and includes walking trails, a digital learning lab, and a community center honoring a longtime senior advocate.
