On Tuesday, May 5, Slipaway will transform into a vibrant Drinko-De-Mayo celebration from 2 to 8 p.m. Rob Benton, guitarist from the multi-platinum selling band Tantric, will perform from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., followed by live Latin music from Havana Band from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Guests can purchase YaVe Tequila margarita flights for $20. Slipaway’s newest food truck, Taco Worx, will also be hosting a taco party. The event will include sugar skull face painting and a mechanical bull.
There is no entrance fee for the event, and visitors are welcome to arrive by boat and tie up at one of the venue’s 26 docks or arrive by car and park onsite for free. Overflow parking and complimentary shuttle are available, visit SlipawayCape.com/contact for directions.
