Borders Bookstores May Start Liquidation on Friday

Earlier this year, Ann Arbor, Mich.-based bookstore chain Borders closed its Carrollwood location and another bookstore off south Dale Mabry Highway.

Since then, the building at 12500 N. Dale Mabry Highway has been a vacant eyesore in Carrollwood.

If you've been following the Borders story, you may have heard that liquidation will start on Friday at store that include nearby Waldenbooks at Westfield Citrus Park Mall.
