Happy Monday, Patchers!

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and now you're sitting at Monday rarin' to go, right? I think I heard some of you say "not right." OK, Monday means another week of work ahead of us but it also means another week of opportunity waiting for us to take advantage of it. 

I'm going to talk a bit about some of the things you can do to be able to grab some of those opportunities. Business owners: Here's something small you can do to let people know who you are but not in a sales-y way. How many of you eat at the local restaurants? A lot, right? OK, next time you eat at one, ask for the manager and thank him or her for the food and service. Also, complement the waiter or waitress who served you. Take this time to give the manager your card and ask for theirs. Congratulations! You have taken your first step toward building a relationship with a local restaurant! Didn't cost you anything but a business card and a few minutes if your time.
