Carrollwood Day School's Third Annual Commencement Ceremony

The head of regional development for International Baccalaureate of Americas, Paul Campbell, saluted the graduating class of 2011

Carrollwood Day School held its third commencement ceremony today at the Bayanihan Arts & Events Center.

The event started at 2 p.m. with the processional, after which Taylor Sayyah sang a beautiful rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” accompanied by Grace Ann Kerkvliet on piano. Mary Kanter, head of school, and Ryan Kelley, the principal, welcomed the assembly.

Paul Campbell, head of regional development for IB Americas, delivered an inspiring commencement address and valedictorian Michael Filer followed him admirably, dishing up quite a few laughs as he saluted his classmates and the faculty.
