Verizon will host an afternoon of food and family fun on Oct. 6 as the company unveils the winning family from its “Families on FiOS” video contest. The public can cheer on five local families who have been competing in the region-wide contest for a Technology Makeover valued at nearly $9,000.
During the past few months, Verizon asked families to film how technology influences and improves their lives, and the top videos were voted on by the public.
Attendees will enjoy free food; kids’ activities, including bounce house and balloon artists; various games, including bean bag toss; and more. Verizon also will demonstrate the amazing experience of gaming at FiOS Quantum Internet speeds.
