Toastmasters Holding Auditions in August
Winners will advance to a September competition

If you've ever wanted to get involved with Toastmasters, check out some information on how you can have your voice heard:
Toastmasters International, District 47, Area 36 will be holding the Area 36 Humorous Speech Competition and Speech Evaluations Contest on Tuesday, August 23 at 7 p.m. at the Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, 2902 W. Fletcher Avenue in the Education Building, Room 301. Doors open at 6:30pm.Â
Toastmasters International is a public speaking and leadership organization which helps prepare its members to take leading roles in their communities and in the business world.

The Greater Carrollwood area is home to two clubs: Carrollwood Toastmasters, which meets at the Jimmie B. Keel library, and Suncoast Toastmasters which meets at the Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church.
Carrollwood Toastmasters and Suncoast Toastmasters are part of Area 36, and will be represented at this contest by their club contest winners.Â
Winners of these two competitions for Area 36 will advance to the Division C contest in September, date and location to be announced. Winners at Division level advance to the District competition which is scheduled late October in Miami.Â
