Art Center of Citrus County Announces Call for Artists for Nature Coast Exhibit No. 1

Continuing its mission of promoting and showcasing the work of local artists through exhibitions and community programs, the Art Center invites artists to submit their work for this exciting upcoming show.

The Nature Coast Exhibit No. 1 will celebrate the creativity and diversity of artists throughout the Nature Coast and surrounding communities. Artists are encouraged to participate and share their original artwork with the public in this juried exhibition.

Call to Artists

Artwork Take-In:

🗓️ Monday, September 28, 2026

⏰ 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

📍 Art Center of Citrus County, 2644 N. Annapolis Ave., Hernando

Entry Fees:

• Art Center Members: $15 for up to two works
• Non-Members: $30 for up to two works
• Additional works: $5 each, up to a maximum of five works

Opening Night Reception

The public is invited to celebrate the opening of the exhibition at a special reception on:

⏰ 6:30 – 7:15 p.m.

📍 Art Center of Citrus County

The evening will feature refreshments and the announcement of the winning works. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Nature Coast Exhibit No. 1 will provide an opportunity for artists to have their work seen by fellow artists, art enthusiasts and members of the community while helping the Art Center continue its commitment to supporting the local arts.

Artists should plan ahead, as the next Nature Coast Exhibit No. 2 will have its artwork take-in date on November 4, 2026.
