Art Center Theatre Presents Songs of Celebration: America 250

The Art Center Theatre at the Art Center of Citrus County invites the community to celebrate America’s rich history and enduring spirit with Songs of Celebration: America 250, a heartwarming patriotic musical directed by Mary Ellen Craver.

Performances will be held on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the Art Center of Citrus County, 2644 N. Annapolis Avenue, Hernando.

This uplifting production features a collection of beloved patriotic songs and musical favorites that honor the nation’s heritage while celebrating the people, traditions, and freedoms that have shaped America over the past 250 years. Filled with stirring melodies and inspiring performances, the show offers an opportunity for audiences of all ages to reflect on our shared history and look forward to the future.

During the performance, photos celebrating America from the Art Center Shutterbugs will be displayed on the screens in the theatre.

“This celebration is more than a concert—it’s a tribute to the spirit of America and the power of music to bring people together,” said Director Mary Ellen Craver. “We hope audiences leave feeling inspired, grateful, and proud.”

After the performance, attendees are invited to stay and celebrate with the performers from the show. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Tickets are $15 and are available through the Art Center Theatre Box Office. A 10% discount is being offered to all military veterans.
