2 Cars Crash Into Clearwater Office Building

CLEARWATER, FL — No one was injured but employees were shaken up when an accident resulted in two cars crashing into an office building on U.S. 19 Wednesday morning.

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a call at 11:39 a.m. about a crash along the southbound access road at 25400 U.S. 19 N.

A taxi and another car were propelled into the building, crashing through the plate-glass windows.

The driver of the taxi sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The other driver and passenger declined medical treatment.
