3 Rescued After Boat Overturns In Clearwater Pass

Three people clinging to an overturned boat at the mouth of Clearwater Pass were rescued Saturday just after 11:30 p.m.

CLEARWATER, FL — Three people clinging to an overturned boat at the mouth of Clearwater Pass were rescued Saturday just after 11:30 a.m.

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue were called after lifeguards from the city of Clearwater saw three people clinging to the bottom of a boat that was still visible above the water. The two lifeguards approached on jet skis and gave out life jackets until the Fire & Rescue rescue boat arrived and took them to shore.

There were no injuries.
