75-Year-Old Woman Charged Hit-And-Run Crash Injuring Bicyclist
The Clearwater bicyclist remains in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

CLEARWATER, FL — A woman accused of a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a bicyclist in Clearwater has been arrested.
According to Clearwater police, on Tuesday at about 3 p.m., a white hatchback struck a bicyclist at Myrtle Avenue and Jones Street and then fled the scene.
The 51-year-old bicyclist remains in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

A member of the community recognized the hatchback in a photo posted on the Clearwater police Facebook page and contacted police.
On Wednesday night, police arrested Grace Hunter, 75, of Osceola Avenue in Clearwater, and charged her with leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury and driving with a suspended license, causing serious bodily injury, according to police.

Hunter was released from jail on a $20,000 bond.
