Clearwater-area Beach residents win national titles at the Fall North American Bridge Championships

Jeff Meckstroth and Eric Rodwell, both of Clearwater Beach, Fla., claimed victory in the Baze Senior Knockout and Blue Ribbon Pairs events.

Jeff Meckstroth and Eric Rodwell, both of Clearwater Beach, Fla., claimed victory in the Baze Senior Knockout and Blue Ribbon Pairs events at the Fall North American Bridge Championships (NABCs), two of the 15 championship-level events held in Orlando, Fla., from Nov. 24 to Dec. 4.

This is Meckstroth’s 86th first-place NABC title and Roswell’s 87th first-place NABC title. The pair, pictured left to right, are Jeff Meckstroth and Eric Rodwell.

The NABCs are held three times a year across the U.S. and Canada to bring together players of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, with opportunities for everyone to play daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The 2017 Spring NABCs will be held in Kansas City, Mo., from March 9 to 19.
