Clearwater Beach natives win national title at Spring North American Bridge Championships

Sally Meckstroth, Jeff Meckstroth and Eric Rodwell claimed victory at the Spring North American Bridge Championships (NABCs).

Jeff Meckstroth and Eric Rodwell claimed victory in the Silodor Open Pairs event, and Sally Meckstroth claimed victory in the Machlin Women’s Swiss event, at the Spring North American Bridge Championships (NABCs). All three are residents of Clearwater Beach, Fla. The events were two of the 15 championship-level events held in Reno, Nev., from March 10 to 20.

Jeff Meckstroth (pictured left) earned his 58th first-place NABC title, and Rodwell (pictured right) earned his 59th first-place NABC title. Sally Meckstroth (center in photo two) earned her second first-place NABC title.

The NABCs are held three times a year across the U.S. and Canada to bring together players of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, with opportunities for everyone to play daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The 2016 Summer NABCs will be held in Washington, D.C., from July 21 to 31.
