Crews Knock Down Fire At Frenchy's Oasis Motel
The damage was contained to one room at the retro-1960s, waterfront property.
CLEARWATER, FL – A Thursday morning fire at Frenchy's Oasis Motel on Clearwater Beach was contained to one second-floor room and no injuries were reported, according to the Clearwater Fire and Rescue Department.
Crews were called at 5:45 a.m. to the retro-1960s inn at 423 Eastshore Drive, and quick work kept the damage limited to the upper story on the rear side of the property.
Some guests at the 15-room boutique motel were expected to be moved to other accommodations.
