Gov. Rick Scott's 2nd Term: Name Your Priorities

It was a close race, but Republican Gov. Rick Scott pulled off a narrow win, earning a second term in the state’s top post.

Now that the campaigning is over, Scott promised in his Tuesday’s night victory speech to get down to work right away. Job creation and economic improvements were some of the top priorities Scott mentioned Tuesday. During the campaign, he promised to delve into the state’s educational system, especially in regard to standardized testing.
