Man Dies In Jail; Accused In Death Of Well-Known Pasco Attorney
The man accused of manslaughter in the deaths of a well-known Seminole man and his son in a four-car pileup has died in jail.

CLEARWATER, FL -- The man accused of DUI manslaughter in the crash deaths of a well-known retired Pasco County attorney and his son has died in jail.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said James Harrison Wolf, 60, of Anchorage Circle in Seminole, appears to have died of natural causes on Friday at the Pinellas County Jail, 14400 49th St. N., Clearwater.
According to the sheriff's office, Wolf suffered a medical episode while in the medical wing of the Pinellas County Jail. Jail medical staff responded and Wolf was pronounced dead at 8:52 a.m.

Detectives say Wolf was undergoing treatment for a pre-existing terminal illness. His death does not appear suspicious.There were no obvious signs of injuries to Wolf and no incidents of use of force or fights involving Wolf.
On July 28, 2018, Wolf was involved in a fatal four vehicle crash that killed 59-year-old Edward Delzer of New Port Richey and his father, 86-year-old Harvey Delzer of Madeira Beach.

Harvey Delzer was a well-known Pasco County attorney before retiring, having set up one of the first law practices in the county in 1960.
Wolf was driving his 2005 Chevrolet SUV west on Park Boulevard at a speed of 82 mph, approaching the intersection of 104th Lane, when he failed to stop for a red traffic light and crashed into a 2001 Lexus driven by Edward Delzer. Both father and son died at the scene.
Investigators said Wolf had the distinct odor of alcohol on his breath, showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the crash. He was arrested at his home on Aug. 14 and charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter. He was in jail awaiting trial at the time of his death.
The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an investigation to verify the cause of death.
